Let’s talk NPD.
We have so many ideas and like most small businesses, we don’t always have the time and resources to dedicate to them, so it’s extra meaningful when a fully formed new product finally makes it out into the world.
2026 is a year of trying new things here at Earl & Rymer, following through on ideas that come up in discussions and would usually be shelved for one reason or another, and trusting ourselves. Creating a brand that reflects us, and excites us.
We have been working on something a bit different. Designed in-house and handmade in partnership with a local blacksmith, based here in Yorkshire, we have been sewing the seeds for a collection of bespoke lamps made from reclaimed metalwork and antique elements.
We got our first four lamps back a few weeks ago and would love to know what you think. Sold in pairs or as a single stand alone piece, we think they are just wonderful and would make a subtle impact in any room.
More are in the workshop as we speak and we are also looking to offer a selection of mix and match lampshades in the future…but let’s not get ahead of ourselves!
