This rectangular bolster cushion is constructed around a central 18th-century hand-woven textile fragment. 

The antique fragment has been historically integrated with a later decorative border and topped with a metallic fringe, with a feather interior.. It has been recently professionally converted into a cushion, preserving the original textile while making it functional for a contemporary interior.
